The dominance of Dehradun’s Shri Ram Institute in the World’s Top Hotels
Shri Ram Institute of Hotel Management in Dehradun is providing golden opportunities for Uttarakhand's youth to work at national and international levels. 15 students from Shri Ram Institute of Hotel Management have made their mark at one of the world's number one properties, the Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur.
Dehradun -20 June 2024- Shri Ram Institute of Hotel Management in Dehradun has demonstrated its dominance in the world’s top hotels. The institution’s Principal stated that it is the only institute in Uttarakhand where there has been such excellent placement in both the 4-year Bachelor in Hotel Management and the 1-year Diploma in Hotel Management programs.
He mentioned that there are immense opportunities in tourism and the hotel industry in Uttarakhand, providing locally trained students with employment and self-employment opportunities. He also highlighted that people from the state are holding high positions in the hotel industry both domestically and internationally, with many running their own hotels in various countries, bringing recognition to the state and the country.
He further added that after completing the 4-year BHM and 1-year diploma programs from this institute, students are provided with placement opportunities in five-star hotels in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Dubai. Additionally, placements have been secured in five-star hotels in India such as the Taj Lake Palace, Taj Rambagh Palace Jaipur, Oberoi, IHG Group, Lalit, ITC, Hyatt, Marriott, and The Lodhi.
Admissions have begun for Bachelor’s and other courses at Shri Ram Institute of Hotel Management, for which students can register. According to the Principal, more than 400 students from the last batch have been selected through campus placements in several top five-star hotels worldwide.
According to the Principal, the institute offers a variety of programs for students including a one-year certificate program, diploma in bartending, diploma in hotel management, diploma in bakery, diploma in hotel management and catering technology, as well as BA, BSc in Agriculture, BCom, and Master of Hotel Management.
International-level faculty are appointed at Shri Ram Institute of Hotel Management who share their culinary and hotel industry innovations with the students and keep them informed about ongoing developments on an international level.
