State Govt. has been worked continuously for development of Uttarakhand

There are always people who keep talking about flaws of the Uttarakhand government but nobody talks about what it has done for the state & its people. Last year, the state govt. under the aegis of honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji held 3 sub-events of G-20 Summit 2023 in Uttarakhand. The first one was a roundtable conference held in Ramnagar from March 26-28, on Science & technology. The second one was held on anti-corruption in Rishikesh from May 25-27 while the third one was held from June 26-28 on challenges of infrastructure & new technologies.  Each of these 3 day events saw participation by delegates from over 20 countries. This gave Uttarakhand a chance to showcase to the world its ability to organise such huge events. Not just that, it also generated employment opportunities for the youth of Uttarakhand in the hospitality sector & hotel industry. Besides, it also gave local businessmen a chance to earn well as many of the delegates who visited Rishikesh & Ramnagar also visited tourist destinations in and around Rishikesh & Ramnagar. Many enquired about various local products & bought them such as handloom & handicraft products, agri-based products such as rusks, biscuits, artwork in form of paintings, woodcraft & Appan art. Now those delegates will tell about all those things to their families & friends after returning to their native countries. This in-turn will urge them all to visit Uttarakhand & explore it in near future. Thus, when they return, it is natural that they will spend money in the tourism industry & will help the state & its people in generating good revenue & boosting the state’s economy. That’s not all, on December 8 & 9 2023, Uttarakhand held yet another huge event called the Uttarakhand Global investors Summit that saw participation by industrialists, business houses, entrepreneurs from across the world. Many of them are going to invest in Uttarakhand across various sectors. This was an important achievement by the state government as it had set a target of getting investments worth 2.5 lakh crore. This target will be easily achieved as the state govt. got investment offers worth 3.5 lakh crore across various sectors. Work has already been started on many of these that are spanned across various sectors. The state govt. focussed on sustainable development & so it made & modified many industrial & investment policies accordingly. This will help in setting up industrial units in an eco-friendly way without causing harm to the state’s natural environment. This is a big achievement of the current state govt. that worked hard to turn the Investors Summit into a success. These investments across various sectors will provide lakhs of employment opportunities in Uttarakhand & will help in realising the dream of our PM Modi ji to make Uttarakhand the most developed state of India in the next 10 years.
