CM participates in the road show held in Bajpur, Udham Singh Nagar

Dhami inaugurated & laid foundation stones of various schemes worth ? 16.34 crore*

Bajpur: Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister (CM) Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the beneficiary felicitation ceremony organized at Bajpur Inter College on Tuesday & conducted a road show from Bajpur Tehsil Office to Inter College Bajpur. During the road show, he was welcomed with songs, dance & flower showers by folk artists & women power of various organizations at various places. During this time, CM Dhami showered flowers on the common people and expressed his gratitude by greeting the large crowd present there. On this occasion, the Chief Minister Dhami inaugurated & laid the foundation stone of various development works worth a total of ? 16,34,42, 000 crore. In which the Sugarcane Development & Sugar Industry Department inaugurated small modernization work at a cost of ? 12.11 crore, laid the foundation stone of reconstruction & strengthening work of Jagannathpur Kosi Farm Road (Link Motor Road) from Bajpur Bandh Road at a cost of ? 351.63 lakh, ? 24.28 lakh.
Laying of foundation stone of construction work of boundary wall of crematorium in Mahuakheda Ganj Ward No. 5 at a cost of ? 22.58 lakhs, Laying of foundation stone of construction work of CC road & drain from Birpur Road to Mau Adil’s house in Mahuakheda Ganj Ward No. 8 at a cost of ? 22.58 lakhs and Ward No. 4 includes laying the foundation stone of the work of boundary wall of the cremation ground located in Adarsh Nagar at a cost of ? 24.94 lakh. And to relieve Bajpur from waterlogging, CM Dhami also announced that flood protection work will be done on Levada river from Chakarpur to Bajpur – Bajpur to Gumsani and reconstruction work of PWD’s Beriya Road and Chakarpur Road and their bridges. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected various stalls set up by the Health Department, Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Cooperative Department, Agriculture Department and National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) at the venue, and interacted with the beneficiaries of various schemes.
In the program, MLA Trilok Singh Cheema, Arvind Pandey, Chairman Scheduled Caste Commission Mukesh Kumar, Minister of State for Status Anil Kapoor (Dabbu), State Minister BJP Vikas Sharma, Ram Mehrotra, President Kichha Mandi Kamalendra Semva, District President Gunjan Sukhija, outgoing Mayor Kashipur Usha Chaudhary, District Magistrate Uday Raj Singh, SSP Manjunath TC and other officials and local public were also present.
