Dehradun: Chief Minister (CM) Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Nari Shakti Mahotsav organized at Bannu ground in Dehradun on Thursday. On this occasion, he inaugurated & laid the foundation stone of a total of 600 schemes worth ? 1,055.57 crore. Of these, 270 schemes worth ? 617.05 crore were inaugurated & the foundation stone of 330 schemes worth ? 438.52 crore was laid. At the venue of the program, CM Dhami went among the women demonstrating tailoring art & encouraged them to continue their work. He also performed Kanya Puja at the beginning of the program, after which he also encouraged the women who have made their mark in various fields. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, while saluting the mothers and sisters who attended the program, said that today through this program, the foundation stone of development schemes worth more than ? 1,000 crores has been laid and inaugurated for the development of Dronanagari. He said that these schemes will prove to be a milestone in the development of not only Dehradun but also the surrounding areas. CM Dhami said that women power has an important contribution in the creation of Uttarakhand state & in realizing the dream of developed Uttarakhand. Teelu Rauteli, Rajmata Karnavati, Vishni Devi Shah etc. are remembered in the form of bravery, courage, bravery and struggle of women in Uttarakhand & our government is working for the development of women by taking forward the concept of ‘Empowering Women – Prosperous Women’.
On this occasion, Tehri MP Smt. Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah said that the central and state governments are working day & night in the interest of women. She said that various schemes are being run by our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji & Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami for the upliftment of women. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Naresh Bansal, Cabinet Minister Shri Prem Chand Aggarwal, MLA Khajan Das, Umesh Sharma Kau, Sahdev Singh Pundir, Savita Kapoor, Brij Bhushan Gairola, BJP Metropolitan President Siddharth Aggarwal, Garhwal Commissioner Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey etc. were also present.
